Timing of Deal From Distributor
Timing of Deal From DistributorAfter reading the last NR again it looks like the 30 day window to resolve the dispute has already come and gone. So unless the current distributor makes an offer for us they will basically get nothing but a licensing deal which they have already refused. Not only that, they are going to end-up trying to defend a lofty lawsuit that they have zero chance of defending.
One interesting part of the last NR is as follows:
"The effective date of termination of each of the engagement letter and the fee agreement was Oct. 26, 2018".
Now that's interesting when compared to this:
https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/25584497/Viking_LifeSaving_Equipment_America,_Inc_v_Unifire,_Inc
There we see that a settlement was being made in the UNIFIRE/VIKING lawsuit on October 24th. So only two days later the termination letter is sent. Looks like they are connected does it not?
Here is how I think it has gone down. Lawsuit was being settled and the terms to acquire UNIFIRE became clear so that gave further grounds for buyout discussions between Federal Reources (likely distributor) and Mission Ready. They then agreed on a deal in principle but it is contingent on receiving the European patent for Flex9 and also on the official settlement of the UNIFIRE/VIKING lawsuit which is set for the end of this week.....Thus we can't hear about it yet.
We know the European patent was originally scheduled for Q3 and then bumped into Q4 via conference call with Schwartz so it should be any day now. My guess is that we will hear of some sort of deal between Federal Resources and Mission Ready once the European Flex9 patent has arrived. For all we know it could also fall into the same timing of the UNIFIRE lawsuit being settled.
1+1 = 3? (Mission Ready / UNIFIRE / Federal Resources)
