Yes indeed, as this is also the part that totally befuddles me.
This is supposedly a huge growth industry, so how in the world can a company be showing sequential decreases in revenues from one quarter to the next? especially since Linton has gone on record to say that Canopy has a huge inventory backlog which they have supposedly been building up all year in preparation for legalization date.
He has stated on many occasions that it would be absolutely no problems for Canopy to have $200M top line sales revenues on a quarterly basis once legalization starts. The mere fact that they can only generate $23.3M in the quarter prior to legalization along with concerns raised about the supply management chain leaves one with a total lack of confidence that they will be able to achieve anywhere close to $200M per quarter going forward.
From all of the quarterly numbers released this week from the big 4 weed companies, it looks like Aurora is the one that has come out on top in terms of top line sales and potential growth going forward.
