RE:NXE to be taken over by or partnering with RIO?

RE:NXE to be taken over by or partnering with RIO?These discussions go on all the time. Uranium mining is a small world and all the CEO's know each other. I said a long time ago here that one possible option was a buy in by Rio Tinto. If you looks at the rest of the Athabaska basin joint venture arrangements are the norm. Suggest it would not take the form of a buy out but a JV partnership where Rio has take off rights. Likely the mine would be developed by NXE and its partners while the mill would be built by Rio Tinto.

I have not heard that Rio is exiting the Uranium businmess but its Australian operations are closing down and Canada is a more friendly mining jurisdiction for Uranium.

My ten cents for what it is worth.
