RE:What Caused the WCS Mess?Lots of gloom and doom out there. On the positive side, Line 3 is a go, and it will be flowing partial volumes next summer, and be full production by year end. Trust me on this one. Next, additional rail capacity has been added recently, with more coming. Then, TMX. TMX is probably the hardest one to call, and will take the longest to be realized, if construction continues. I think it will. The Gov't will give away 49% ownership to FN get the deal done. I think that's how TMX will play out. Relief is coming. After all, how can we be so stupid, as a country, to get into this situation? Giving away our oil. That's $30Bn a year in lost revenue. I believe there will be an improvement in WCS prices as these solutions come online, and the differential will shrink. I'm concerned more about the differential than the price of WTI. Drop WTI another $10, but add $15 to the price of WCS, and we'd be better off than we are today. I see WTI is down to $53.41 at the moment. That should motivate the Saudis and the Russians to implement some serious cuts to production. They've been making great cash over the last 18 months and I can't see them giving that up with 2014 looking them in the rear view mirror. Choppy waters ahead of us for a quarter or two, but reason to be optimistic, if we're relentless in pursuing these solutions.
