RE:RE:RE:NJ approves mj legalizationWell, all I can say is that if they do get Federal legalization in the U.S. while the Canadian LP's still don't have their $hit together, there will indeed be a big move.
A huge move downwards to virtually nothing for all of these big LP's once the big money U.S. companies comes in. No way will any of the Canadian players be able to compete with the huge U.S. multi-nationals and their unlimited pocketbooks, knowledge & experience, and deep distribution channels.
Just take a look at Blackberry which was the early and dominant player in the cell phone market and see where they are right now once Apple, Samsung, etc. decided to move in.
For all of our sakes, you better hope that they hold off on federal legalization in the U.S. for as long as possible in order for the Canadian weed companies to not only start up their operations and get it running smoothly, but also to be first mover and establish their network internationally.
Heck, they don't even have the domestic network and distribution channels set up yet, as clearly evident by all of the empty shelves and multi-day closures, and you want them to compete against much bigger companies with the deep pockets and established networks.

In my opinion, what will now move the market is one or more of the following:
- revenues
- Farm Bill
- Federal Legalization in US
- major M&A or JVs
- announcement regarding legalization of edibles in.Canada
- major insurance companies covering mmj
- something as aimple as Shoppers finally starting to sell mmj
