None phase 2 is done results show the drug works, they are hoping it will become classified like the EU and can begin selling immediately once permitted. Phase 3 is pharma grade drugs that require a prescription. 


Is CBD Legal In The UK?

Yes, CBD is not a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, neither is it covered by the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.  As long as it is marketed as a food supplement without any medicinal claims it is perfectly legal to sell and to buy.

 

Which HVT has in the EU but Canada still has stricter laws for the use. I believe this will change as edibles, drinks come online in 2019.
