RE:RE:RE:Here are the factsNobody is arguing that Uranium stocks are still performing poorly. And today as you said was another not so good day. So what ? The horse race is on and fortunately I own numerous key horses in this race.
Cameco is flatlined still but when ( not if ) spot rises to over $ 50/LB, will it still be a sick puppy ? Do not think so. Will it go to $ 200 per share - of course not but I can assure you it will be well north of $ 15 per share.
" The investing public " is the key point where you are incorrect. I know many 7 and 8 figure individual families who still have no clue about Uranium. The Uranium market. Nuclear Power/growth industry - no way. KAzak's who are they. USA produces less than 1.4 Million LBS of Uranium a year and uses 50 Million. UGHH ? Imports 98 % of Uranium much from enemy countries. The investing public still have no clue. No clue. Listening to their brokers and financial planners about almost everything else but Uranium - for now.
Still a surplus - you sure about that ? Ever run a company ? I have and one cannot sell something for $ 3 that costs him $ 6. At least not for very long anyway.
Maybe Rio buying Hathor in the fall of 2011 was not the brightest move - especially with 6 months of evidence after the March 11 event. Look at all the U companies stock that tanked from April to October of 2011. Even Cameco was not too bright to be bidding on Hathor when their stock was cut in half in 2011. Point is big companies are not always the brightest.
And certainly not dreamin as I like the lights to work. Always. Electricity is kind of important and here to stay. Coal is not going to do it. Nor will natural gas alone. And wind well I will not hold my breath and the millions of bird killing is outrageous globally and not reported as slowly the older mills become rusted out eyesores. Recycling solar panels with all the heavy metal content will be a nightmare. Anybody heard of this ? Not many.
A lot of hungry newer and bigger Nuclear Power plants around the world. For the next 60 years. So FCU deposits will be mined some day as well as Nexgen, Roughrider, McCarthur River again, Christie Lake and many others. 20 years and 4+ Billion LBS of Uranium need to come from somewhere. I will watch this all unfold and be pleasantly surpised. Will be worth the wait.
