A person that commits an offence under this Act is liable to a fine of not more than $3 million, or to imprisonment for not more than 3 years, or both.

If a person, other than an individual, commits an offence under subsection (1), an employee, officer, director or agent of that person who authorizes, permits or acquiesces in the offence commits the same offence whether or not that person is convicted of the offence.
