Stars Group Very Volatile On No News And Here is Why

Stars Group Very Volatile On No News And Here is WhyTo those watching this stock daily, huge volatility on no news is unsettling, however this can be explained by TSG moving in lockstep with Wynn and WIlliam HIll over the last 6 months.

Most of the downward trajectory  has to do with a repricing of the whole gaming sector and investor sentiment about the increased risks and reduced growth of their peers.

I doubt this pattern will deviate until TSG can show better quarterly results and improved guidance which if significant will effectively 'decouple' it from its peers. The gaming sector may see a slow recovery in 2019, investor fear was likely far overblown, but this prediction is still highly speculative.
