RE:Channel checkYeah I get a small chuckle out of all the retail talk like retail is where most things are sold now adays. I'm anxioiusly waiting for their listing on amazon.com, but they have it on amazon.ca, and that is where an operations manager (Jaycee) ends up with lots of orders on their desk, and unable to respond to impatient investrors emailing to see if she will give up company info. People that ordered online make her busy, not sending packages to stores and hoping they sell.
Retail is still OK, and NU seems to have lots of relationships that alliviate some of the pains that come with getting the shelf space (namely cost, and getting someone to return your phone calls). I'd guess they aren't paying anything at all for that shelf space that has the one stick on it for so long.
But if you take a look at their website which has massive changes just in the last couple weeks, social media platforms, and communications they have been having to begin the consumer education process that is required with their product, you'll notice they have significantly upped their game.
I'm not positive that they have hired someone and allocated them to online marketing, but as an online marketer I can tell that there has been significant change. Once they have done a good job of educating the consumer, and identifying cost of acquisition of one customer I think we'll see some really good numbers coming out.
