RE:Will DRC government reverse the SP?
@jiayouha to add context to the matter of which you talk, take everything with a huge pinch of salt. Why?
Journalists and particularly "in-country Stringers" from certain African countries representing Publications and/or News Services who should know better (sometimes including Mining Journal, Mining Weekly, Bloomberg & Reuters etc.), and who, without fail, continually find themselves hoodwinked every year.
Hoodwinked doing what exactly? Well, providing over enthusiastic conduits for the dispersion of Government propaganda and/or misinformation.
This happens predominantly three times each and every year, like clockwork: Mines & Money in London (on right now, and the reason we are having this discussion), Mining Indaba in Cape Town and PDAC, Toronto.
Some of the journalistically mandated "news" that eminates at and around those three events must be looked upon with far greater scrutiny.
These are my views only. Thanks for reading.
