RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time for a turnaround!

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time for a turnaround! I'm not sure why you keep engaging this fool. He adds nothing to the board. He has been wrong on every prediction he has made. As for pointing out the negatives, you can see the news releases and financials yourself, not sure why you are interested in his opinion. He didn't have enough vision to invest early, he's not smart enough to invest now and he can't see this latest UK clinical trial for what it is. This trial is a gateway for Canopy to gain credibility and acceptance with the UK government which wont be immediately impacting earnings but will be a massive contributor to earnings in the future. The only reason anyone should be invested in this stock is because it's a growth stock and the future potential is outstanding. Is clinical trial in UK is exactly that. He has no vision and can't see it. He's an old school value investor, looking for Value in a nascent industry growth stock. He is a complete waste of time. I have him on ignore but because you quote him every time I have to read his nonsense. Now I know how you feel when people respond to Mick.

There are two scenarios - 1) A rumour circulates that has merit and is largely bought by a handful of individuals who push the stock higher and at the time the news drops, the details when discovered may not be enough to push the stock higher post news.
2) New unexpected news drops that was not included in the markets general expectations for executiony, or where there was uncertainty around that execution that resulted in a discounted valuation. For example the WEED entering the US post Farm Bill is included in expectations but the exact method, and therefore impact is uncertain.

In scenario 1, like B-C45 or Legalization or Jeff Sessions resigning, we sold the news.
Scenario 2, was like the Constellation bid round 2.

The type of news you get is important. Like people on here interpretting Canopy spending more money on research partnerships which should have no immediate impact on the stock was misinterpreted as worthy of moving the stock and those who thought that were obviously wrong.

What gets frustrating for invetors is when they see information is new, and therefore worthy of moving the stock, but it isnt because the majority of investors/smart money already had it built in.

Retail investors will always be further away from understanding true value because they do not have equivalent information. Therefore are more prone to rely on "luck" for their winnings.

Weed investors here better be praying China/US reach some time of de-escalation... something actually tangible and not some BS Trump tweet.

i agree wholeheartedly on the US/China talks. Anything positive coming out of the G20 meetings on that front this weekend will send the global markets in the right direction next week. I now see where this guy is coming from. I’m thinking bigger picture and big news. I should have been more specific. GLTA Longs, I know it’s stressful but there are brighter days ahead in 2019 in IMHO.
