J Lin is not some all star analyst lol the kid might me right in the sense the risk reward is not as attractive but he doesn't understand the perspective of hedge funds who are wayyyy on the winning side of the short.

You press every rally until you you can't fight the buyers and then your cross your exit short in front of them.

If you had outlined his talking points and not just his biased self serving title for longs it would be clear to the people to lazy to do work that he's on the LONG side.

Please alow me to correct my earlier post. Finally a Seeking Alpha writer posts a title that makes sense! Shorts should be covering now!  I'll confess I gave him too much credit when initially posting this link. I fell in love with the title of his article as shorts should be covering now! Based on his FMV and Hold recommendation this almost seems like he is bashing Canopy. Please disregard his current FMV as this is irrelevant and laughable. Bonjour, my posts are always for the benefit of a long term view, once you realize this we'll be fine.  I choose to hi-light the following.

we should reassess again after recreational sales are factored in. The most important takeaway I took from the results had to do with potential price per gram sold.

While CGC reported having an average 9.87 CAD per gram price sold, this was benefited from increased medical marijuana product sold in Germany.

How about a sell? The valuation is much more rational than before, and if we are generous and subtract the $4 billion in cash on the balance sheet, then we arrive at an earnings multiple of 38 times. This is somewhat reasonable and perhaps there is room for upside due to, for example, non-flower sales.

Of course there is room for upside due to non-flower sales!!! This is a HUGE part of current and future success of Canopy. The margins are off the charts!!
