Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Lol!!!

RE:Lol!!!I agree with you that Aphria was selected strategically for this and there is more behind this than meets the eye. This has wayyyyy too many moving parts for this to be completely legitmate. It is an uneven playing field. The timing of this report is very very interesting. Shorts do not have to be 100% accurate with that BS that they put out (look at the most recent short on Manulife...as if a hedge fund and a provincial court is going to take down a multi national company). Aphria has to be very careful with what they say and what they put out. If they make a misstep it will be way worse for the company. Shorts know this takes time...they know how many retail investors are in this...and they know they missed the boat when all of these ran up. This report also happens to come out the next business day about the news about Aphria's role and ownership in a company looking to replace opioids?

That being said, you can't ignore the effect that these reports have in the short term on the share price. I was long aphria (i got out at 8.50 and yes i am a first time poster, but long time lurker). Just because I got out, doesn't mean I do not believe in the company...but the dust does need to settle a little bit. These reports tend to negatively impact thr SP for a few days at least. This sector was prime for these bullshit attacks and some little guy is trying to make a name for himself. This is certainly cherry picking on their part. But I am monitoring this very closely and I am certainly looking to jump back in depending on how this Management team responds over the coming weeks. I also think the report Thursday from these guys will be interesting. They will be under more scrutiny with what the bring forward, and if it is more cherry picking and accusations with no hard evidence it can seriously discredit them further. Could be an Icarus situation for these guys.
