PYR took an order and in about six months built, installed and put into operation a system that can generate upwards of $3.5mm in benefits, and they did this under extreme cash demand times. This simply confirms the fact that they can also operate such a sustem in a centralized way.
The problem in business is that "it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks". So the idea is not to change anothers ways unless you absolutely have to. If you look at it that way, you simply go to all of the places that use the salt process today and you start up production next door. Eventually, they will go out of business and you pick up the processes and people that they have put in place. Sorry about that.
As far as transportation and safety, those issues are surmounted today because they have learned how to manage those issues, AND, that is not whare the cost savings are.
