This could possible be true for a few reasons

 

  • February corporate presentation showed the product qualification process was 9 months for a battery company (9 months is November)
  • The most recent corporate presentation (June- page 5) “battery anode material for the “light electric vehicle” market. 
  • Google “light electric vehicle” and pictures of cars similar to the ones electrameccanica produces
