Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

goldman777 wrote: Obviously the market likes managements approach to the short attack. Yes it was painful for those that bought in before the worm crawled out from under his rock, and many here critized management for not getting in front of it immediately. Is it not more beneficial to not jump into the fray with short sighted rebuttals but to thoughfully mount your defense. The shorters would have loved for quick, ill advised rebuttals as no doubt they would consider it fuel for the fire. This would have played into their game plan as they initiated this entire fiasco and no doubt were prepared with deeper deflammatory evidence. Kuddos for management to not reply, kuddos for management to say...well, we`ll look into it with a special arms length committee...but we will let the fire storm blow over first. I suggest that 1 month from now shareholders can look in the rear view mirror and see things more objectively, and at that time value will be restored. Noise and distortion is all this is, sheep in wolfs clothing is right - this guy ain`t here to be a saviour, he is here to represent a group of professional shorters who look to decieve and steal. If the average retail holder falls for the ploy then it is egg in their face, in the end the only person to blame for bad investment decisions is the person looking back at you in the mirror. Very sad that this is even tolerated, that hard working people who are trying to better their lot in life fall victim to uncaring and relentless attacks from unscroupulous individuals / firms that seek to steal your security. Note that the individuals concerned are not based in Canada, the off shore attack is the hardest to defend against. So all that being said - opportunity arises at the sacrifice of others. Here`s a question...What do being stupid and being dead have in common...well your not aware of either if it applies to you. So once again we see the flock go over the cliff , once again we see the wolf feast. All rhetoric aside, today we saw a 50% gain and a close at the very high of the day set on the last trade, we also saw a significant percentage of the TSO change hands - this means one thing and one thing only. Now factor in how the DOW rallied back 700 points from what was shaping up to be an incredibly painful day....and....drum roll please - Friday`s trading session will be green all the way, and I predict BIG green. Expect APHA to close at $10.00 - this will represent 25% up side on follow through buying to todays session. As the market anticipates the line by line rebuttal, all eyes are on this play - in conclusion I suggest management has played their cards right by not over reacting and carefully dotting the i`s and crossing the t`s before burying this worm and his cohorts. Big gap up in the am after a feeble attempt to hold it back, strong buying right through the session to the close with another close at the high of the set on the last trade - pretty much a carbon copy of today. An absolute ton of free exposure - makes me wonder if maybe it is all part of the orchestration. Welcome to the new age of trading but make no mistake - just like the old days their is a cockroack lurking under every stone. BIG day tomorrow - it`s all in the last trade of today - Congrats to those who stepped up to the plate at yesterdays lows and GLTA regardless of your approach.

Thanks for your post. It is certainly a relief to be reading so many positive posts tonight for a change . I am also expecting another gap up day tomorrow as you noted. Just a month ago the Aphria SP was $16.70, it should not take long to return.
In lessthan72 hours Viic certainly impressed us all with how he addressed the very threatening and fraudulent shorter report.
No wonder he is called the Pot Czar.

Thank you or your kind words, I look at all the ships that left the port a few years ago in this sector while I was still mired down in my losing gold stocks - always wishing I had of pulled the trigger and bought into this one, but I never did. Then I watched as Aphria did everything my DD told me it would do, I feel very vindicated and priviledged to have been able to buy yesterday right in at the bottom. While I empathize with the short sighted sellers who got duped out of their shares I remind myself of what Warren Buffet is fond of saying - the stock market is merely a tool for transferring wealth from impatient people to more patient investors. So, sure I wish Ihad a boat load of shares like some here claim to have, but I`m a humble man and am happy to have been able to get the position I now hold below $5.00. I plan to sell 1/2 on the double - likely tomorrow, and play with the house money as I look up the street for the next bus that is coming my way. This is how I build all my own self directed mini porfolios - discipline - always sell 1/2 on the double and add the new one. Cheers to all - feeling real good about a $10 close tomorrow. That being said, this may be the rare occassion that I do not sell 1/2 on the double - Why you ask - because i think it`s a triple from $5.00 in short order.

To each his own Goldman but I will not be selling Aphria below $40 due to anticipated strong growth new industry. However back in Sept I did sell half my po#ition in the mid $20’s if I recall and bought back my full position plus some more all the way down to today’s lows. What an opportunity but the past 3 days were as everybody knows very stressful up to the turnaround.
Thank God for Vic’s skillful stewardship.

You are hilarious a little retarded but funny never the less. Vic used aphria shareholder money to buy out companies that Vic was a chairman for and he did it at crazy valuations. Shareholders should demand this guy steps down. And you say thank God for his skillful stewardship. My god listen to yourself
