RE:Impatience growing at postmedia too
An uncomplimentary column, but true.  Not sure why these fossils feel compelled to stay on forever with no apparent success to show for their efforts.  It is about ego and perhaps greed and nothing else.

Godfrey has presided over an almost unprecedented value destruction exercise and was a prime architect of the mess they find themselves in today.  Paid too much for the assets, took on too much debt and didn't find solutions other than cost reduction which rarely leads to a sustainable outcome.  Time for him, Honderich (the leader in value destruction) and Crawley at The Globe to step aside and let a new generation of leaders find a solution.  The answer isn't in the past.
