One suspects the day of the small private money manger is limited to those who are private rather than public. GC is really not big enough to be able to apply the economies of scale that would make them worth investing with IMO, unless their results are superior to the market, which I don't think is the case of late. So, they make an ideal candidate, like Saxon Funds a few years ago was swallowed up by McKenzie.
