RE: drill rigHi Crafty Investor;
I'll try my best to respond to your points. Firstly, because AMR is a private company, a lot of key
information on their drilling activity is not in the public domain i.e. target depths,seismic structure,
etc.Given that they seem to be using a converted mining rig, my guess is that they are targeting a
shallow structure...a Carboneferous reef.While their boundary borders on Vulcan's property, theirs is
not the same target that Vulcan will be drilling.
With respect to Vulcan, the company's next well will target three zones, a limestone unit, a
carboneferous structure, and a much deeper structure believed to be of Ordovician origin.As you
know, current geological information on the West Coast show the required ingredients for significant
hydrocarbon potential, including a hydrocarbon source as well as mature trap and resource rock.
In their recent well Vulcan intersected a 100 meter column of significant oil shows and was still in this
soil-bearing formation when TD at 280 meters. These shows consisted of the presence of live oil in thr
drill fluid, and extensive flouresence in drill cuttings indicative of an oil bearing formation.It is my
understanding that this well holds the potential for large pay zones.
You also mentioned DLOG's chances of finding O&G in the Deer Lake Basin.It is my understanding
from locals that the company hit significant condensate in their recent well, and , plans to reenter the
well to go deeper very soon.In fact, this program have have already started.
Hope this helps .
