RE:RE:***MISSISSAUGA VOTES TO BAN CANNABIS SALES*I think you are one those people for whom smoking pot is like a flag, like the centerpiece of your political stance and world outlook which is kinda lame. We're evolving into a world where it's nothing. Not cool, not bad - just nothing - just some thing some people sometimes do. Nobody feels super strongly about beer - some like it, some don't but mostly whatever. It's beer. So why do you make a fetish out of weed? If Mississauga does not want pot stores - that's fine. Who cares - it is Mississauga. If they don't want to see drunks they can ban the bars too. Big deal. Mississauga is a boring family suburb. Not like your pot shop would make a killing on the 11 suburban kids that smoke there. They can just order online. There are zoning regulations where you won't have a bar or a strip club next to a school. Should we maybe open strip clubs right inside schools then? And sell booze, weed and tabacco? I mean it is legal right?

One of the reasons I do not prefer the US is over similar issues of alcohol sales and dry county jurisdictions, and would hate for Canada to fall for a similar fate of the issue of cannabis. Canada as a whole needs to take a stance, if decriminalized at a federal level then regardless of what town, or region, sales should be allowed regardless of an overide mindset which believes otherwise.
