RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Interim resource estimate for Kiena. Mike's pretty fired-up. I can't blame him; WDO is both having good fortune on the Kiena drilling, and doing a great job of it.
Kiena A alone is 340k at 11.7 g/t, plus 80-160k more that wasn't drilled quite well enough to qualify for inferred. More coming, now that they've got the more-efficient drill locations up and running.
Did you catch the part about hiring a new resource geologist, along with getting the 3D Leapfrog software? Apart from providing better geometric modelling for the Kiena drilling, she's supposed to compile the old data from the other historic Val d'Or mines that WDO owns, and look at it from a fresh resource perspective, with an eye to which to explore once Kiena's booming. I hadn't realized that the original Wesdome mine (north of Kiena) was 1/2 million ounces at 7.1. Like to see what new drilling techology might find, deep to that.
