RE:BXE Stock Price
RE:BXE Stock PriceSince the beginning of Oct. the S / P has been cut in half from $1.50 to this level. Numerous reasons are firstly balance sheet is not good along with that is the known fact that the stock has been shorted probably for mths now , along with that the stock mkt and especially the Cdn. jr.. and mid cap energy sector has been devastated by the price of oil and gas which just recently has turned around to some degree and should be reflected in the energy sector over the next few qtrs. and along with that over the last while we are in tax loss selling season.
All these things are a perfect storm to cut a co. like this in half as what has happened. Going forward the co. has extended 30 % of its debt out another 3 yrs and i believe has indicated they are in the process of doing that with more of its debt , also a decent portion of its production is commanding world prices not WCS ., both of these factors have not been reflected in any way in the S / P but in all these other circumstances that is not surprising as the negative sentiment surrounding this co's issues and gen. mkt. conditions weighed too heavily to do anything for the S / P.
The next qtr. or two should reflect a better enviroment with tax loss over , oil and gas prices rising , debt extended giving the co. more breathing room and more of that to come and hopefully the sentiment in gen. in the energy sector improving should all do positively what all the negative factors over the last few mths have done to bring the S / P to this level.
I believe as usual volatility has been over done to the downside with negative factors just the way positive exhuberance to the upside drives stocks to levels higher than they should be .
Lets see what all the postive factors enacted and coming over the next few qtrs. brings the mkt. in gen.. and this co. specifically to levels that should reflect these positve factors ,before we continue to dump on this co.
