perhaps the move to a private company ????

Hmm. Archibald and Crone invest $10 mil or so in the debt along with another entity willing to risk 50 mil for 5% interest?

When the equity component of the company is valued at $17 mil? Is it a move to privatization with a PE partner (AIMCO?) or could it be a chance to earn 10% interest should the cash flow exceed $40 mil per annum?

It does appear to be a lot of financial jiggery-pokery. Why should CPPIB make such a short-term move and who is paying for all the costs?
