Serious Question re: speculative buyout
Serious Question re: speculative buyout I'm an RNX long and hold a decent position. I'm hoping (like many longs) that we get great drill results and are sitting on a very large gold mine!
I've noticed on this board and on ceo.ca that many are speculating what a buyout would look like should the company decide to sell.
My question is re: Sprott and a potential KL buyout/(hostile) takeover.
What would benefit him more? A cheap buyout (say $1.xx/share) or having this stock become a 10-20 bagger.
I'm aware he's a huge shareholder of both RNC and KL.
What scenerio would be best for him?
Why do I ask? Because he appears to be extremely influencial and will likely get what he's after here (should RNX prove to be sitting on a fortune).
I'm a noob here and just trying to figure this out. Obviously we retail holders would favor a 10-20 bagger and not a cheap buyout.
Thanks in advance to those who have taken the time to answer.
