King of Saudi Arabia demands license reinstatement of AscentIn a statement press release to CBC news reporter(s) on December 11 2018, his Highness King Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia has publicly demanded to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that authorities reinstate Ascent Industries cannabis sales license.

Ascent industries' license was suspended by Health Canada authorities in November of 2018 due to alleged misconduct regarding inconsistent and illegal activities during the period that Ascent Industries was a privately held company.

King Abdulaziz is a large stake holder in the company and believes Ascent has been targeted by authorities solely as a conspiracy as a "form of unjustified Canadian sanction in response to irrelevant international affairs."

King Abdulaziz has yet to comment on further outcomes if license reinstatement is not fulfilled.
