This will also be a shorter term trade, holding through the Farm Bill and seeing if Canopy/Constellation have some surprises in store.

General thoughts:

The market is now short-term oversold. 

I do think there has been tax loss selling of a bunch of people who bought in the bubble.  This selling is over in 2 days.

Is lower still a possibility? I suppose so.  I think $33 dreams are definitely weakening, but not completely dead yet, hence the decision to start buying today.  In that light, today's buying is a bit of a hedge.  If it goes lower, there is room to buy more.  If it bounces, I'm in.
