Upcoming FDA Meeting

Upcoming FDA MeetingOn Dec. 13th, I posted the following:
We would still be looking forward to the  results from the Merck studies and our SP would probably hold up fairly well. We are now in a position whereby the shares could take quite a hit if less than a favorable response from the FDA. Was there any requirement for the prior announcement from IMV re the FDA meeting?
GLTA

"Just a thought re the upcoming FDA meeting. As a shareholder, it's good to be advised on progress and of upcoming events. However, in the case of the FDA meeting, would it have been better to hold the meeting prior to announcements? We have built up great expectations for gaining breakthrough status or at least getting FDA consideration to proceed with further studies as PoorOpinion has alluded to.
If,for some unknown reason FDA discounts both options, our SP is going to suffer considerably because of the expectations already built into the stock. If this upcoming meeting is not considered material, then the Company could have had the discussion with FDA, following which an announcement could be made. Just a thought that may not hold water."
