Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Johnson and Johnson

RE:Johnson and JohnsonHi Skyplt,

As you may be aware from some of my previous posts, I too have concerns over the way APHA senior management has publicly handled the accusations within the short report. I think everyone agrees that the short report is self serving and contains some questionable allegations. Nonetheless, it is prudent to assume that there is some degree of truth or at the very least lack of certainty surrounding the structure of the LATM deals. My concern is that the guy at the helm, Mr Vic, may have culpability in how these deals were structured hence his silence on the matter. One point that continues to trouble me is how people continue to assert that a Diageo deal is imminent. What large corporation of any wherewithall would announce acquiring an equity stake in a company who has appointed a special committee to review the integrity of a material asset purchase? Diageo shareholders would be incensed. It simply will not happen while the clouds remain above APHA. Do I believe APHA will eventually survive this debacle in some way, shape or form? Yes. Do I believe APHA will disclose some sort of corporate ethics/compliance shortcoming? Yes. Will Vic need to step down for the good of the shareholders? Yes.

Happy holidays to all longs

Carter
