Listen to Orocobre’s Webcast

Listen to Orocobre’s WebcastIf you haven’t listened to the webcast I’d suggest it’s worth a few minutes. Current lithium levels are at the initial NLC, PEA, base case. NLC predicted a 10,869 in 2021.

https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2017/12/13/1331517/0/en/Neo-Lithium-Files-Technical-Report-with-Positive-PEA-Results-on-its-3Q-Project-Showing-a-Capital-Cost-reduction-of-US-98-5M.html

The webcast from Orocobre makes it sound like current prices are slightly lower than expected. The best news is that Orocobre isn’t holding inventory very long. So no huge supply glut is expected this year, things are volatile though.

My interpretation here is that we need to see what happens with demand. It seems that, with Helm AG news, NLC management is finding a buyer so this brine will go into production as it will be an extremely reliable source. Lithium demand is planned to double between now and production date, so there will be waves of good and (like the present) bad periods.
