Corporate earnings are still strong, unemployment is near zero and consumers are spending at a record pace. We definitely had a major correction but only the Nasdaq has dipped into bear market territory. The FANgs valuations were really stretched, so a pullback was expected. I think the market will perform better in 2019 than it did in 2018. There will be more volatility but I believe that China and the US have too much to lose to not coming to an agreement on trade.
The cannabis sector is in a bear market and has undergone a serious correction since October. Canada (and ontario) needs to get its act together and smooth things out, but some pain had to be expected rolling out the new regulations.
CROP should start showing significant revenue growth by the middle of 2019 which will lead to exponential share price appreciation. My guess is the cannabis industry will see more Altria/Constellation type deals and when revenues start to roll in the sector will improve, a lot.
happy holidays

I can say that’s a pretty accurate thought to almost all analysts as well. No one is seeing this as a crash rather that of an expected pullback nothing more due to how long the bull market ran overall.
Crop has a ton going for it and now that the bill is passed and will be put into law there should be many near PRs coming very soon. In speaking to their people last week they’re very excited about this having been passed and relay it as an extreme positive for the company overall.
Happy to be in this early in the game and price fluctuations will be just that. We are ending the tax loss season and anyone exiting at a loss can not get back in for 30 days or lose their Capitol loss locking. Therefore weak hands are near shaken out at this point.
