Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:GGB hired Grego to short and distort Aphria!

RE:RE:RE:GGB hired Grego to short and distort Aphria!Don't they need a whole lot more than a mere 10% of the shareholder votes in order to get this takeover deal approved by the shareholders.

Another nonsensical number here in that they think 10% support is good enough for them to take over the company.  I am just surprised they didn't claim their GGB shares were worth $12, and hence was offering a greater than 100% premium to where Aphria was trading at prior to this announcement.

Totally lonney bin stuff here!!!

“Green Growth believes it already has support for the Offer from Aphria shareholders holding approximately 10% of the outstanding Aphria Shares. Green Growth has additionally acquired a meaningful toehold position in Aphria. It is expected that following the Offering Green Growth will continue to be listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol GGB.”
