Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:GGB hired Grego to short and distort Aphria!

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:GGB hired Grego to short and distort Aphria! You are correct in the sense that this entire fakeover is totally crazy and right out there.

Of course, all shareholders would take $18USD for their shares of Aphria.  Especially in light of the fact that Green Growth was effectively offering only $6.68 CAD per share (based upon market value at the time) when Aphria was alreay trading about 12% above that mark at the time of the announcement.

Yes indeed, it's virtually the same as saying I'll gladly give you $15 as long as you are willing to give me back $10 in return and we'll call it a fair trade then.  Boy, talk about the crazies out there.   Haaaa...................

SilverGold13 wrote: I agree it is all crazy,  but maybe they will come back with a better offer it was just the first one, every business goes in low on first bid.  They won’t be able to afford to buy Apha.  This opens the door to other offers from companies with bigger pockets!  All I can say is I’m holding my shares I will take $18usd for my shares and votes.
