RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:sold my small position in FR @8.03I'm not sure where you found your performance comparison data between SIL.v & FR.to, but Silvercrest has out performed First Majestic on the 6m, 1yr, 2yr, and hugely outperformed on the 3yr charts (on account of the Las Chispas discovery). It's a draw on the 3m, and Silvercrest didn't exist 5 years ago...
Anyways, it's splitting hairs, SIL has performed as a jr that made a significant discovery, FR has performed as a leveraged producer. I like both stories, they just play diffferent roles in my portfolio. I'm hoping that FR has another run like 2016 with the silver prices, its a very different portfolio now, but I feel the leverage is still there to fuel that. Hoping we see that silver run in the near future and we all have portfolios to celebrate.

It all depends on what time period you're using. If you use 3 or 6 months, I believe FR outperforms.
YTD is close.
2 years, FR outperforms. 5 years, FR outperforms.
They're both good, but FR I think can insanely run if silver can move again which it appears to be doing heading into 2019.
