Twitter is a problem?

Twitter is a problem?I see post about "NRG Twitter is a problem" and threat of reporting them to the regulators.  To clarify,

Are you referring to the posts of their stock charts since inception here,
https://twitter.com/NewrangeNRG/status/1078814319587016704

Not sure what's wrong there or eslewhere. Any specific examples to share? Please and thanks.

Please note that a key issue is "selective disclosure". If a company starts sharing analysis done by others then they have to share all such where possible -- for example, they can't retweet only the good coverage. That is a simple and timeless rule of junior mining stock promotion that applies to social media, as I understand it.

See NI 51-201, Part 5 on Analyst reports:
"A company that redistributes an analyst’s report to people outside the company risks being seen as endorsing that report. Companies should avoid redistributing analysts’ reports to their employees or to people outside the company.36 If a company elects to post to its Web site or otherwise publish the names of analysts who cover the company and/or their recommendations, the names and/or recommendations of all analysts who cover the company should be similarly posted or published." https://www.bcsc.bc.ca/Securities_Law/Policies/Policy5/PDF/51-201__NP__May_31__2013/

Not clear if technical analysis counts as an "Analyst Report" but it is a very simple and clear rule that deserves to be followed. If you publish any analyst reports on company channels, then don't cherry pick them.

NRG has a disclosure policy on their website, too. Find it here, https://www.newrangegold.com/CorporateValues.asp?ReportID=420442

Note they have the same language in their disclosure policy about analyst reports,
"12.1 Analyst reports are proprietary products of the analyst's firm and the Company will not post such reports on its website. The Company may, in response to specific requests, distribute copies of the analysts reports making it clear in the response that the Company does not endorse the reports. The Company may post on its website a complete listing, regardless of the recommendation, of all (and not less than all) the investment firms and analysts who provide research coverage on the Company. If provided, this list will not include links to the analysts' or any other third party websites or publications."
