RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Election ResultsTony,

IVN is not an NGO monitoring elections. It’s a mining company. The Congolese need to sort this out for themselves.

I don’t agree the US makes enemies intentionally. They have screwed up in the past. Many of their military interventions have created new enemies faster than they can kill off the old ones. However, they’re the only ones stepping up to defend Western freedom and democracy. At least they’re trying. If it wasn’t for the USA, Communists would have steamrollered much of our our civilization decades ago. And the US military is learning from their mistakes. Unfortunately the only way to get good at war is constant practice with the real thing. Field exercises don’t cut it. Those who survive become highly skilled fighters.

And who else can replace the Americans? Canada? Turkey? Germany? Recent Pew surveys show a majority of Germans would not even support coming to the defense of a NATO ally. It’s a good thing the Russians are not all that ambitious. NATO would fold like a wet owl. We’re lucky Americans lend out their military so generously to the rest of us cheapskate allies. I do wish the so-called Deep State would stop pushing Russia into the arms of China. We need to keep those two separate. It’s repeating Germany’s mistake from WWII, taking on everyone at once. The largest country in Europe, combined with the most powerful in Asia. That’s the stuff of nightmares. Anyway, I digress...
