Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Let's not get complacent

RE:Let's not get complacentBump!   Great Post bionicjoe!!

bionicjoe wrote: Though the Bloomberg article is encouraging it's going to take more than that to shed the stigma of impropriety among insiders. We still need a detailed line by line rebuttal as promised by Vic Neufeld to dispel any doubt that insiders profited from the Latin American & Caribbean transactions or else the shorters will just change their tune to claim insiders benefited from an overpricing of the assets. In effect that there is an old boy network at Aphria where one hand washes the other by quasi legal investments. The Bloomberg piece should be seen as just the first cannon shot across the bow of those that perpetrated the short attack. Let's not let them off the hook so easily by thinking the job is finished. Far from it. We can't leave any lingering doubt among the market movers that there is extra risk attached to investing in Aphria or that insiders are not working in the best interests of shareholders. To leave the matter open to interpretation might also affect the decision making of potential JV partners. The official company rebuttal must go forward and sooner rather than later. The street wants to hear it right from the horse's mouth so it can move on. The company must oblige.

Long and Strong on Aphria!!
