Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Debate of 2019

RE:RE:RE:Debate of 2019The only ones that appear to have gotten away with monkey business, to this point, were those behind publishing the now discredited Aphria short report. Ironically they called it a "shell game", when it appears they were actually referring to their own corporations (~30K net assets?), possibly backed by the hedge fund(s) with large short position(s). Note that Brady Cobb stated on BNN that Nate sits on the board of an offshore hedge fund, coincidence?. This successful attack during an extremtly volatile global market effectively wamboozled over $400M from CDN cannabis in December and wiped atleast $625M from APHA's market cap to this point (relative to a $10.51 closing Nov 30). It's likely more to the tune of over $2B MC wiped, if the attack began ~November 12, when APHA was trading at it's fair value of ~$16.50. This is all speculation, but very interesting to see where the story goes in the next few months.

It appears steps are being taken to ensure this does not reoccur (independent chairman). Lets see what Lenczner Slaght Royce Smith Griffin LLP advises, once the audit report is completed. Line by Line rebuttal is not necessary at this point, but rather a confirmation that there were no insider dealings and the fair value of the LATM assets agree with Cormarks and Scotiabanks assessments, as well as Bloombergs research into Jamaica. Bloomberg disclosed that Jamaica can produce 16,000 kilos annually and we are aware that Colombia's capacity is 30,000 to 50,000 kilos.. that's 230-330M revenues a year @$5/g... appears to be in excess of the $193M pricetag. Looking forward to our CDN capacity of 100,000 kilos this month and 255,000 kilos by Summer 2019. It would appear our full capacity is ~320,000 kilos, add in CC Pharma, ABP, extraction centre, Germany tender? Good things will happen to Good companies.

You have to end the perception in the industry that insiders got away with their monkey business in helping friends get rich. These kinds of articles will continue to question the integrity of Alphria if not answered officially by the company. The soap box of these type of authors needs to be taken away so they don't continue to do damage to the sp and for that an official rebuttal is the only answer.
