1) If SP don't rise and Financial is mediocre then you will see a mass shareholder exodus.
2) IF SP rise and Stella Financial Report this will be a home run and we are on our way.
Make it or break week. Rebuttal seems like it will not come IMHO.
Let's hope we see #2 positive news. I heard the same schtick about Nortel. The fact is, the retail investor tries to sift through information (and misinformation) about any given company or sector. With so much at stake, and so much misinformation (like that spewed by Hindenburg) it is essential a CEO have integrity; that’s why they are so well compensated. We we put our faith in Vic Neufeld. We assume he is acting solely in Aphria’s best interests...not SOL’s. A CEO cannot serve two masters! If he sacrificed his integrity for greed than he needs to go. If he did not, simply show the investors of Aphria he was acting solely in the interests of the company we invested in. |
I agree that this week is crucial. The independent Bloomberg article disputing the shortsellers acusations should help push the sp back to pre-shortsellers attack (or at least move the sp into the $9s).
Vic needs to come out with an overwhelming rebuttal once and for all and put to bed any lingering doubts on insiders ethics. I think that there is no doubt that there are at least a couple of potential buyers for APHA and the apparent delay in releasing the announcement must have something to do with financing (as is the case for most M&A activities). A great quarterly report on Friday will be just be a bonus. We just need to be patient.
GLTA!
