Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:This was an encouraging day for Aphria IMO.Well articulated thought. Thanks.. I will support a fair MSO offer as well.

Aphria from a more technical perspective. Today was a very good day. The global markets are encouraged by some of the concessions made by China in the US/China trade negotiations. The US government shut down does still linger, but, I would imagine that may end soon. Even with Trump's rhetoric, people not being paid on Friday will add significant preasure on him to sort out the border wall issue. Brexit, not really sure what to say there, but, it is of concern for the global economy, but has taken a back seat to US/China.

Now Aphria, today was a day that the initial Gap up created some selling preasure and profit taking. The revised revenue of ACB for their next quarter from 67 million to 50-55 million was also a selling preasure additive. My question is why? Why release that statement this week during Aphria's earnings report week. ACB could of released it next week, it is a trivial announcemnt and ACB may of wanted to rain on Aphria's parade. The bulls pulled APHA back up, that is very encouraging indeed. We may now see the run up to earnings, a meet or beat of earnings maybe a sell the news take profit event initially, then a strong buy signal for a stellar quarter. Or, a earnings disappointment will also put selling preasure on APHA.

Either way it is difficult to gage the setiment of the market for APHA right now. We have had some tough times lately and we are starting to crawl out of the hole we are in. Regardless, of opinion, the short attack was a direct hit. But it certainly was not going to sink us. We all know the attack was meritless, but, the net effect was devastating on us share holders. The shareholder law suits are nothing but, BS. Those lawsuits are entirly baseless. I hate to say this, because I have friends that lost alot of money selling due to the short attack. The courts will not sympathize with those shareholders. It wasn't necessary to sell at the loss. Again, I apologize to those that sold, and I am sure those that did had a very good reason, but, in the eyes of the courts it was not necessary. Only the lawyer's will be enriching themselves, and if by chance the lawsuit is awarded to the shareholders, the settlement is pennies on the dollar. Again, their is now foundation for the lawsuits, but, it may give a false perception of APHA.

The findings of the independant board need to be released, to put not only existing shareloders mind at ease, but, also put new shareholders minds at ease. Aphria needs to complete this, not only for current investment, but also for future investment. Which may include a partnership venture or direct investment from a global player. I personally need to know, if management had their hands in the cookie jar. I do not suspect that Vic would chance that when Aphria is listed on the NYSE. There is just to much to lose as we have experienced this last 5 weeks. I am feeling a little better about Aphria and hope that the gap up gets filled within the next few sessions, that is my confirmation that Aphria is back in the game. Aphria has alot more upside potential then downside. Today showed that the times are changing, and Aphria will be measured more closely to it's fair market value. License issuances, a respectable earning report of 38 to 40 million in revenue with an EPS of -2 cents to 2 cents estimate. April, Ontario stores come into the fold or scheme of sales and maybe a reasonable offer by my hopes of an American MJ play. I would support a fair offer from a MSO. One that brings shareholder value. Thank you for reading this and this is my opinion only. I would not force unverifiable information on anyone. You are smart investor's and deserve the truth and honest opinion, not ridiculous and second hand information. Have a good evening.
