BlackRock Municipal Income Trust (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from federal income taxes. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its managed assets in investments the income from which is exempt from federal income tax (except that the interest may be subject to the alternative minimum tax). The Fund may invest directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. The Fund's investment policies provide that it invests at least 80% of its total assets in investment grade quality municipal obligations issued by or on behalf of states, territories and possessions of the United States and their political subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities, each of which pays interest that, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes. Its investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC.

RE:RE:RE:Disappointing APHA results.Really dzanio? So what did your crystal ball say pre-market this morning?

It could have gone either way but the financials were so bad that my speculation pre-market was that APHA would take a haircut today and drag the sector down. I'm happy that I was wrong.

If you actually read my whole post, my last line was: "This might be slightly off-set by the news that Vic Neufield is stepping aside."

Clearly, the market is more buzzed with Vic stepping down than upset with the financials. This was a brilliant move by the board and one that had to be done.

People should be asking why Aphria only booked an incremental $8.5M rvenue over six weeks of legalization. They had the most SKUs of any LP by far. So that means they could not supply. Why? Is their production that low or is the quality so bad that they could not ship what they produced? Or is it something else entirely.
