RE:RE:Bad News FridayThis is great news. Great deal. I have been hoping for years that they would get that 5% back from Quinto. Toma Owns 20% of quinto. They most likely planned on buying out all of quinto to get that 5% back but this is a way cheaper way of doing it and paves the road for a smooth buyout. IAMGOLD has done more than enough to prove up the property and the longer they wait the more they will pay. Now toma can sell their 20% of Quinto and get back most of that 500k if they slowly sell into strength. I hear some uneducated people on the board (Goldminer and others) saying a good junior needs to keep drilling to prove up it's properties. Well that is exactly what they did with the monster lake project and with great success. They scored a deal with a major. It has been a very bad 7 years for gold stocks and if Toma were to keep doing PP's to fund more drill programs on other properties it would have been a waste of money and we would be much weaker now than we are and way more diluted. The market has not been rewarding good drill results as you can see by the stellar results we have had for years which proves my point. Better to just sit back and let IAMGOLD pay for all the work untill the overall sector gets bullish again which looks like it is happening now. Did anyone here buy Toma for Obalski or any other projects. I'm guessing no. I bought in after the deal with IAMGOLD was announced. Monster Lake is the winner and should be their only focus. So many juniors have gone under in the last 7 years I think David has had a few blunder ideas along the way but has done very well just to survive these horrible market conditions. I give David 2 thumbs up for this move and he most likely did it at the request of IAMGOLD and now the real deal will come next. It is also very probable that another major comes in and buys Toma to get a peice of Monster. Either way they are obviosly making this great move in anticipation of a buyout. I am very happy about this. On another note where are our drill results and winter drill program announcement.
