Implications of WMMC / Aurora Deal

Implications of WMMC / Aurora DealWhistler was just taken out for C$175m. According to the press release they will produce 5,000kg of certified organic product annually once the second site becomes operational this summer. Rubicon Organics, the only other truly certified organic producer and whose CEO founded WMMC and whose CSO is responsible for WMMCs growing capabilities/organic certification, will produce 11,000kg of super premium certified organic in Canada and 4,500kg of super premium organic in WA state - they are 3x the size. Using WMMCs precedent takeout value ($175m / 5,000kg = $35,000/kg) implies a FV of Rubicon of $542m (15,500kg x $35,000/kg = $542,000,000) which is over $13/share. Rubicon is currently trading at an C$80m valuation or c.$2/share Not saying Rubicon is worth $13/share today but in 3-6 months it could be a very real possibility.
