Sharing DD on Neutrisci + Nutritional High + Aurora Cannabis
" Hey, great sleuthing on this. I've been out of town for a long holidays vacation and unplugged from social media, so sorry I never got back on the 2019 projection question, Richkat. But this is a pretty interesting video.
First, I'm surprised that this is the first time I've heard of Szweras and the EAT/ACB connection. Apparently, it's nothing new as Szweras has been a director for EAT since they bought the Nutritional High name in 2014 and on the ACB board since 2015. And it's not like ACB has a bunch of randos on the board either. They've gotSzweras, the CEO of Hempco (a subsidiary), an ex-MedReleaf director (subsidiary), and three people listed by Bloomberg with Aurora as their primary company.
You'd think that there would be nonstop rumblings about Aurora connections with them. I haven't looked further to see what other connections there are, but Szweras was just made the Co-chair in September and is now making public appearances. If you watch the whole interview, they talk extensively about how EAT is planning on expanding into Canada once edibles are legal. They say that they can't export from the US, but that they can from Canada. Posner talked about getting into Europe, specifically mentioning Germany and Portugal. I can see Aurora keeping it arms length now given US federal legality, but you'd think there has to be a connection.
An nice thing they brought up here is how well they're doing on revenue. They had $5.8 million in revenue for Q1 2019. Sure, that's bonkers for their market cap, but it really matters to NU. They can execute. I was happy when NU partenered up with them and I'm happy now. Good business model, fantastic execution so far. At least for the size of their company and balance sheet. No reason not to think they'll execute for NU.
And great work Cannabaked on the finger tapping thing. I might be biased here, looking for positive signs, but it did look like he wanted that question. The first time I watched it I thought he might have just not been prepared to answer it, but it looks more like he wasn't entirely prepared but he wanted to be the one to very carefully answer it. And if he knows about it, and is excited, you know that Aurora knows about it.
So that brings me to my first thought when I watch the video, which is how he talks about the product line like it is specifically an energy product. Which isn't really a surprise, because it was referred to that way in the last EAT/NU press release. But this seems to make it clear that they intend to market it largely as an energy product, and that it is a wide open and new category of products.
On that end, I'm going to do another post. But google "cannabis" and "energy" or some other versions of cannabis + the word energy. There really aren't many competitors in the space. And most of them are in the drink space, where it is more difficult to get small, exact dosage. And most of them don't seem to have the fast acting, long last formula thing down. I'll do some research and see what's really out there, but CBD + energy seems like a solid niche. And one that could lead people to look into Neuenergy for a bit cheaper. Throw in HempOmega and whatever they're working on at Scientus, and you've got some things going on.
Last nice thing is it seemed like they were saying that the next NR is going to be when the products are already on the shelves, producing revenue. Looking forward to the next NRs to see if we get any good curve balls. Thanks again for the good sleuthing CB! "

I had someone look over the clip whos good at analysing body language and wording. The impression we got was a curve ball question, finger tapping and some "ahh & um's". Looks to be like binding agreements in place and his brain processing proper choice of words. finger tapping = wanting to be the one to handle the specific question.
So i looked him up. As mentioned above, Law School education, director at ACB and EAT. I could dig deeper but those clues in itself show, hes particular in his choice of words. Best guess is binding agreements between EAT + NU (perhaaaaaaps ACB?)
Maybe having him on with David was a signal.
Theres something we can't just place our finger on after that clip. My bet is on binding agreements.
