The lagging upcoming distribution report is making some here nervous.

I did a bit of research on dividend history tonight in terms of timing for the Declaration Date. In the last five years there have been 5 quarters where the Declaration Date occurred as late as the 14th of the month. A Declaration Date of the 15th only happened once in the past five years.

There has NEVER been a Declaration Date of the 16th or later. Although I agree it's making me somewhat nervous I can't believe the news (when it comes) can be all that bad. I don't believe for a minute that they would cut dividend entirely. Assuming they do cut dividend to 5¢ (which would be a 28% cut) at my ACB that would still represent a dividend of over 13% per annum which would not be horrible.
