It's like complaining that management insiders aren't buying our stock to show confidence in a stock. They weren't buying because they weren't confident of making money on their own stock when it was above $1... That's why we look at insider buying... It would be meaningless if insiders were buying to lose money.
Insiders buy when they feel they can make money... and that's why it may be a positive indicator.
