Why are investors investing in this sector right now? Obviously people have heard from BNN or some other news outlet about the potential profits you can get when you invest in this breakout sector. At other times of the year, they will run scare stories for days or weeks at a time, only talking about the negative revenues or asinine valuations of these companies.
Why are all these news outlets so determined to have a split personality? It is to create fear among retail investors. The banks all know what is going to happen before it happens. They all go to the same events, and hear tips from the same people. They have been around this game for a long time, and they know how to filter out the noise to predict what a stock will do, based on the news released.
And when they are wrong (rarely)...they’ll just use a lot of different tactics to make their end goal happen. Like filtering volumes to small exchanges for example, in order to make buying pressure look weak or strong depending on whether they want you to buy the price up, or sell the price down. If you don’t know how to read level 2 data, and don’t have access to the ATS...you probably have no clue what I just said...look into it because it will benefit you. The reason the news outlets, banks, and companies want you confused is that they want volatility!
They can profit in a sideways market as long as they have volatility on their side. Your brokerage has to approve every trade you make, and they can delay those trades if need be. They can fill them at market if they choose to. They can sell or buy your shares with another customer of the brokerage and take the half or full penny profit on the cross trade. Basically the bank is playing you poker...and your whole cards are exposed. They also see your trade account so they can take advantage of how desperate they know your financial situation is. The funniest part of all though...WE PAY THEM A COMMISION!!! Talk about a good deal eh
How do you beat the market/ bank? DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!
How did Warren Buffet make his money? He bought and held stocks that he knew would be relevant in the future. You need to buy companies with a product that will last...and a market cap that will be justified after a couple years of earnings.
Anything else is just gambling. I don’t know about you guys, but I have been burned in the past. The sell off from January-August of this year was a pretty big manipulation of retail investors if you ask me. Congrats to everyone that made it through unscathed. Now we are entering into a bull market again...but you have to be aware that the money is never easy for those of us watching minute by minute. Prices fluctuate in this space and you need to be very patient/ educated if you don’t want to get shaken by these swings.
MWM (micron waste technologies) is the company I am looking at closely, as U.S.A softens on marijuana legislation. ACB is invested in them and Cam Battley is a director of the company. Cam Battley spoke to congress about MWM and has also mentioned them in multiple interviews.
Now that we are about to have countless LP’s producing cannabis, what is more necessary than a product that will turn cannabis waste into water, which can then meet sewer water standards? The digesters take marijuana waste, and convert 95% into “grey” water, which can be used to water the plants, mop the floors or go down the sewer without being hazardous. I know that people assume marijuana trimmings can just go to a landfill, or be thrown somewhere on-site to decompose. There is THC in marijuana, which is considered hazardous. There will be a lot of laws in place that penalize companies for not disposing of excess correctly. These digesters will be able to break down 2500 pounds of waste within a 24-48 hour period. Every LP will be buying these digesters because of their efficiency and cost savings.
In conclusion, Cam Battley is the CCO of Aurora Cannabis.....ask yourself why he would spend time talking about MWM...going to meetings with congress...and having ACB invest in them? 10x profits are no longer available with ACB in my opinion (hard to reach 90 billion anytime soon)....but a 35 million dollar market cap...with a great product...I think 350 million is more than attainable.
GLTA...do your research and invest wisely. I am long on MWM
