RE:RE:When is the merger expected to be finalized?

Thanks for replying LeafRider....I probably shouldn't even be invested here, but even after increasing my position almost 10 fold its still a small position, not even 10K shares.

Peter Lynch of Fidelity fame once famously quipped:  "Buy what you know".  The inference was that with specific knowledge of an industry or sector, that investors are better armed to make informed decisions.  When it comes to weed, I not a user at all....I'm into the second half of the game in terms of my lifetime and while I was not averse to toking up during my HS and university days (mostly hash, some homegrown) its been ages since that time.

On top of that I tend to shy away from companies that engage promoters to hype their firms...which  is something Emblem did a lot of at the start, and as evidenced by the recent StockHouse article, its something they continue to do.

What intrigued me at the start was the involvement of John Stewart of Purdue Pharma. experience.on the medical side....that is what pushed me to put a little $$$ at risk.

Your comments on legal recreational weed being garbage are interesting.  Just the other day I went out to lunch with the pastor from my church.  Our town has a new mayor, and the guy is a friend of mine, the new mayor is soliciting input from the public on a new strategic plan and specifically reached out to the chruches in town.  Part of the consultation is with respect to allowing retail weed sales in our little town of less than 15K.

I told my pastor that I wasn't opposed to it, ultimately I don't partake so it doesn't impact me directly....but my town is half an hour drive from a reserve where dispensaries are rampant.  That's when the pastor told me of an acquaintance of his who has told him that the recreational product being sold legally...that its "####".  My pastor actually used the four letter word for excrement that even SH censors, he's an awesome guy.  His take was that  if the product is garbage that it ultimately won't matter because nobody will buy it.

March/April isn't long to wait....and I'll take that target with a grain of salt based on how you presented it, its a decent spit ball number.

Cheers.
