The Companys investment objectives are to provide holders of the Shares of the Company (Shareholders) with (i) monthly cash distributions, plus (ii) the opportunity for capital appreciation, through investment in the common shares of the Portfolio Companies. The Company has been created to provide investors with an opportunity to invest in a portfolio (the Portfolio) of 15 Canadian companies (the Portfolio Companies) whose shares offer investors an above-average dividend yield, and which have shown solid earnings growth and have a history of capital appreciation. That's good info., did not know the Underwriters received a significant discount. I grabbed some right at the opening when it was around $8.48, I expected it to stay there all day, but it rebounded during the day and I expect that to continue. It is the Gold Standard of SS!! Also made some nice Capital Appreciation on LBS for the week. Overall portfolio wise, nice start to the year, always like building a pad first as opposed to playing catch up.
