RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Cronos and Ginkgo Partnership ObservationsOh my...you are a sharp one.
You do realize that Altria will eventually be the majority owner of Cronos right? You know that they are the largest employer of contract farmers for tobacco in the southern US? Hemp is now legal. They can plant outside and reduce cost far below Aphria or anyone for that matter. How long before Altria dominates this industry? Is Aphria the answer? With their low cost production in socialist Canada? Where the government puts up roadblocks every intersection to ensure nobody is profitable? Wake up. Aphria isn't licensed yet either. So don't count the chickens yet. Also, Broken Coast isn't too happy about being part of the Aphria family so that would be quite a problem to look out for in the future since the ONLY good weed from them is from BC. Also the 6 impeding lawsuits might be cause for concern...in the southern district of NYC...enjoy those costs. That should be fun for shareholders. Do you think shareholder equity isn't being used right now to protect Vic and team from criminal charges? Do your own DD on that. lol.
Altria is looking at big picture. THE USA. They will dominate. No question about it. The vape space will be theirs. Their lobby power is real. Ginkgo will hit their targets (ask your resident biologist who is a great guy Guelph2018 if it is likely or not that Ginko will succeed?) and by then Altria will have a full Cronos set up in the USA. You are focused on a BS Canadian market? You are shortsighted and not seeing the forest for the trees. The Canadian market is already a complete disaster. Government will ensure it stays that way. American multinationals will quickly buy up any worthwhile businesses and then the smaller ones will get gobbled up as well. Just like alcohol and tobacco. Everyone is just an incubator for Altria money in the space. I hope Altria/Cronos buys out Aphria for 5-7 cash a share. It would be awesome...not for any other reason then I'd like to have the last laugh. It won't happen though....Aphria is being courted by the glamourous and respectable CSE giant CGG. Perhaps we buy them both and save you the trouble. 2.4 billion dollars. 2.4 billion. You can't talk your way out of that...well Vic can but you can't win an arguement that Aphria is a better investment when Cronos has 2.4 billion in the bank as of March. Keep smashing your head against the wall though.
